About Me

Hi, my name is Avery and I’m the woman behind Incandescent Co. Becoming an entrepreneur has been a dream of mine forever! Since I was young I can remember my mom saying I would own my own business, and here we are. When I dropped out of college my sophomore year my mind has been going crazy with worrying and excitement. I didn’t know what I would do but I did know that I would never work a 9-5 office job. Only a short two years have passed and now Incandescent Co. is born. Incandescent Co. is so much more than a business, it’s where I can have fun and be creative! I’m very passionate about all-natural products, after learning what goes into candles and other products in our home. I decided to hop off the chemical train and hop onto the all-natural train. I also love interacting with local small businesses, I have found so many inspirational people and continue to work with them every day. I like to think of the Co. part not as a company but as a community. The community in this business is so important and I believe in supporting as many small businesses as possible. While I am not pouring candles, filling orders, or product testing, you can find me with my fiance Riley. We are always looking around for new adventures or fun places to visit! I love the beach and the mountains, but I would much rather be soaking up the sun than hiking a mountain. I’ve been exploring New Hampshire with my friends ever since we got our license, which has made me love my home state even more. I plan to reside in New Hampshire with my fiance for a while longer then we want to head down south and west! I also love being active, working out at the gym or playing a sport is something I do multiple times a week. Enough about me, I want to meet you!
